My kids love books. They ask me every evening to read a bedtime story. Reading a story before going to bed actually became one of our bedtime routines. For their birthdays that we celebrated last month, they asked relatives and close friends to give them books as birthday presents. So we have lots of different children books in our library now. But two of them are really special. They are personalised stories about my two children that ended with an awesome surprise. I still remember the happy face that my son had when we reached the last page of this book. It was magical!
The books are titled “The little girl who lost her name“, and “The little boy who lost his name” from Lost My Name Books.
The books start with a warm dedication signed by their aunt that they love so much. The story takes us from a scene where a child who looks so much like my son wakes up in the morning and got a big surprise when his name vanished from the bedroom door. The search for the lost name takes him through a magic rainbow trail to wonderland where he gets to meet a koala, a jaguar, a unicorn, an elephant, a lion, an ibis, an aardvark, a rabbit, an eagle, a monkey, a narwhal, an alligator and an angel. All these friendly creatures helped to find the lost name. By the end of this wonderful adventure, the lost name was magically found.
The book is amazing and the illustrations are wonderful. My children love their special books and keep asking to read them almost every night.
