Super easy rice cakes & cheese canapés that are perfect for any party!
I am all about food party at the moment, and with New Years Eve fast approaching, I thought that I’d share with you this easy and simple cheese canapés idea. They only take a few minutes to make, they’re very tasty, and I also thought that they were really cute!
I like to call these cheese board canapés, as I’ve used different kinds of cheeses to make them! Cream cheese, with different kinds of cheeses (I used green pesto cheese, red pesto cheese, and orange marmalade cheese) these are interesting! Aren’t they?!
And of course these are topped with grapes, because how can you have cheese without any grapes? The combination of firm salted cheese, and crisp, juicy, sweet grapes is just divine!
If you’re not a fan of rice cakes, you can just use plain crackers. - 20 rice cakes
- 100 grams of mixed cheese (cubed) - I used green & red pesto cheese, and marmalade cheese.
- 50 grams cream cheese
- dried basil
- 10 grapes
- On each rice cake spread some cream cheese, and sprinkle with dried basil. (I piped out the cream cheese with a star tip but this isn't necessary)
- Add a cheese cube on top of the cream cheese.
- Top the cheese with half of a grape.
